Welcome to Bluegrass Horseshoeing School, located in picturesque Corbin, KY. Corbin sits at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and is home to a large and diverse horse community. BHS owners Dan Helton, CJF and Kim Helton are excited to bring you a horseshoeing school designed by a 33-year working Farrier for future working Farriers. Bluegrass Horseshoeing School offers it's students a curriculum designed around what Farrier's encounter in their day-to-day working lives. Your learning experience will have a well-balanced approach when it comes to forging, live shoeing and class work. Our students have our full support while attending school and after graduation. Our student's success equals success for BHS, and our graduates leave school with the confidence of knowing they received the education to prepare them for running a quality Farrier business. We are dedicated to keeping our courses affordable and always having enough instructors, so our students never feel alone in their education.
